(54) ELECTROMAGNETIC SEPARATOR
(57) FIELD: electromagnetic separation of finely divided mineral mixtures in the form of pulp with high degree of selectivity for their concentration. SUBSTANCE: separator includes magnetic system in the form of two electromagnets arranged at both side of separation zone and mutually inclined with possibility of controlling their mutual inclination angle and gap between them. Electromagnets are connected with mains through rectifying diodes. Cathode of one diode and anode of other diode are connected respectively with first ends of both electromagnets with possibility of creating pulsating magnetic field. Separator also includes feeder, receiver for separated products, separation chamber and in addition - impeller performing reciprocation motion for discharging magnetic product, partitions preventing turbulent motion of finely divided non-magnetic products to zone for discharging magnetic products. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of separation finely divided materials in pulp. 2 dwg
