FIELD: mineral concentration; applicable in flotation of coals. SUBSTANCE: collecting agent for coal flotation is apolar reagent obtained by extraction with dimethylformamide from middle distillate high-sulfur fraction of oil with boil-up limits of 200-350 C. Collecting agent has the following amounts of components, %: cycloalkyl sulfides 3.6-4.0; naphthalenes 35.0-36.0; benzothiophenes 3.0-4.0; semiaromatic cyclic sulfides (sulfur in saturated cycle) 34.0-35.0; phenanthrenes 14.0-15.0; triaromatic condensed sulfur compounds 7.0-8.0.
