- The Research Institute for Catalysis at Hokkaido University, founded in 1943, was rebuilt as the Catalysis Research Center (CRC) in May 1989 and expanded in April 1998. The CRC consists of three major sections with nine research laboratories and one visiting section with two visiting research laboratories. The three sections are heterogeneous catalysis, molecular catalysis and surface chemistry.
This annual report contains the complete information on the organization, staff, and activity of the center.
